What happens when your coffee's gone?
Fair question, and the honest answer is: eventually it will be. We buy small lots and roast through them. When one's finished it doesn't come back — it moves to the archive and something else takes the slot.
So a subscription here isn't a standing order for one coffee forever. We'll email you before anything changes, and you pick what's next. If you'd rather not think about it, tell us roughly what you like and we'll put something close in its place.
That's the point, not a compromise. A rotating subscription is how you end up drinking coffee you'd never have picked off a shelf. If you want the same bag every month forever, we're probably the wrong roaster — and we'd rather say so here than after you've paid.
