Affogato

Dessert and espresso in one glass — hot shot poured over cold gelato, eaten fast.

Ingredients

  • 1 generous scoop vanilla gelato or ice cream
  • 30 ml fresh espresso (1 double shot)

Method

    Put the scoop of gelato in a chilled glass.

    Pull a fresh double shot.

  3. 3

    Pour the hot espresso over the gelato at the table.

  4. 4

    Eat immediately, while it's half-melted.
